You make a difference! Each month, we collect needed donations of food and other items for area food pantries, shelters and groups with our Mitzvah of the Month program. The receiving agency and the types of items are announced in the weekly e-newsletter. Our two Mitzvah Boxes are conveniently located in our parking lot near the handicapped parking spaces and our Sanctuary lobby. Drop off anytime!
Help supply needed items to students throughout Northern Virginia who otherwise might not have school supplies. Your donations will go to Northern Virginia Family Service.

Help supply school items to families at Bailey’s Elementary School in the Culmore area of Falls Church. Bailey’s is a Title I school, and over 70 percent of the students come from low-income, mostly immigrant, families. Items collected will be donated to the school.

Please avoid expired food, glass, and extra-large containers, and don’t leave any items other than the types requested. We also welcome re-usable grocery bags.
For many women in our area, not having enough money for feminine hygiene products is a monthly problem. During April, please help these women by dropping off sanitary napkins of any size (no other type of feminine hygiene products) in the Mitzvah Boxes. Your donations will go to Northern Virginia Family Service.
