The Mothers Circle at TRS is for non-Jewish women who are raising their children in the Jewish faith within the context of interfaith/intermarriage. The group empowers women through education and support to learn about the religion, rituals, and traditions practiced at home and in the synagogue. It provides an opportunity to become comfortable with the components of weekly services, High Holiday services, and life-cycle events. As the women form a bond through discussion of their challenges, concerns, and experiences related to their journey, the group also becomes a foundation for a community within the broader TRS community. The Mothers Circle meets monthly from September through May. Participants do not have to be members of TRS or have any prior knowledge of Judaism.
Being a part of the Mother's Circle has transformed my experience raising Jewish children. Not only have Donna and the women taught me a lot, but I have developed strong relationships and feel very much a part of the Rodef community.

Finding Mother's Circle was a game changer for my experience as a TRS member! Not only did I meet other moms with a similar story, but also found a comfortable space to learn Jewish culture and traditions, while forming lifelong friendships. I am forever grateful to Mother's Circle for enriching my family's connection to Judaism and our community.
