Music & Performing Arts

Temple Rodef Shalom prides itself on showcasing the expansive musical legacy of our culture. The Music & Performing Arts Committee, in collaboration with our cantors, provides the Jewish community of Northern Virginia with performances by top names in Jewish music and cultural programming through a mixture of large concerts, intimate presentations, and Beit Café coffee houses.

Improv Night at the Beit Café

Enjoy coffee, pastries, and camaraderie at our Improv Night Beit Cafe where a local comedy troupe of Jewish improvisers pulls on the loose threads of the knitted sweater of Jewish life using audience stories and suggestions to decide where to tug. This event is intended for those ages 16+.

Steve Pilloff and his improv troupe, The Mishigas Players, bring their spontaneous creativity to TRS for a night of hilarious Jewish improv! Steve appears regularly at the Washington Improv Theater where laughter, creativity and connection take center stage!
