A Legacy for Generations
Hineinu, meaning “Here we are,” is Temple Rodef Shalom’s year-long celebration of Rabbi Amy Schwartzman’s 36 years of visionary leadership and our shared commitment to the future of our congregation.
Through special programs and gatherings, we will honor Rabbi Schwartzman’s extraordinary impact on our community while inviting members to help secure Temple Rodef Shalom’s future by strengthening our endowment. Together, we will establish the Endowment for the Senior Rabbinic Chair, creating permanent support for the leadership that has guided our congregation for generations and will continue to do so for generations to come.
Join us as we celebrate our past, embrace the present, and invest in the future. Here we are. Hineinu.
Hineinu means Here We Are, the plural of hineni, the powerful word in the Torah that means Here I Am. Said by Abraham, by Jacob and by Moses, responding to God, it was the subject of Rabbi Schwartzman’s first High Holy Days sermon in 1990.
Celebrate the Legacy. Secure the future.
Our year-long celebration will include inspiring guest speakers, festive onegs, concerts, and special gatherings honoring Rabbi Amy Schwartzman’s extraordinary leadership.
The greatest tribute we can offer is not only gratitude for the past, but confidence in the future.
