Nova Oct 7 Music Festival Exhibition

The Nova Exhibition is coming to Washington, DC, opening to the public June 14 for a limited time only. This powerful exhibition arrives in the heart of the American capital to continue telling the story of those who were murdered at the Nova Music Festival on October 7th — and to honor the survivors who carry the memory and pain with them every day. We invite the public in Washington to come and experience this emotional and deeply moving tribute — a space that sanctifies life while preserving the memory of those we lost. This groundbreaking installation is presented as a way to empower visitors to responsibly explore & bear witness to the tragic events of October 7 and its aftermath. This is not just an exhibition — it’s a testimony, a call for remembrance, and a stand for humanity. Join us. Bear witness. Keep the memory alive. October 8th Screening & Unpacking Together

Join the community at Pozez JC for a screening of the film October 8th which explores the impact in the U.S. of the terrorist events in Israel on October 7, 2023. Following the screening, there will be an opportunity to join discussion circles focused on different aspects of that impact in our own community and exploring possible responses. Discussion topics include:

  • What can I do to change it?
  • What is actually happening on campuses and how we can support students?
  • How to have a difficult conversation?
  • What can we do as individuals in the Jewish community to fight antisemitism?

October 8th offers a look at the explosion of antisemitism on college campuses, social media and in the streets of America beginning the day after the October 7th attack on Israel by Hamas. Through meticulous investigation, the film also uncovers how over decades, Hamas created sophisticated networks in America to permeate U.S. institutions and examines the tsunami of online antisemitism, propaganda, and disinformation unleashed by Iran, China and Russia – with the sole purpose of dividing American society.
