Nearly two years have passed since the atrocities of October 7th, yet the memory of that day continues to shape our lives. Northern Virginia Jewish organizations invite you to join diverse programs—offered in different formats—so everyone can find a way to participate that feels meaningful.
It has now been over 700 days since 251 hostages were taken, and 48 still held captive and prevented from returning to their families. We continue to hold them in our hearts and support efforts for their safe return.
The community is invited to listen, learn, share, and connect as we carry the landscapes of our homeland, our communities, and our shared memory. Together, we honor the memory, uplift the stories, and find strength and healing as a community.

Northern Virginia is one of over 230 global chapters. We walk to maintain awareness of the 50 hostages who remain in Gaza. We have now coordinated with local police throughout NoVA and will walk in different locations each week. Walk locations are announced on Friday on our What’s App and Facebook groups. Please go to https://run4lives.org/ to locate our What’s App group (called Arlington on the site). If you prefer Facebook – search Run For Their Lives – NoVa.
