We Are the Women of Temple Rodef Shalom
Welcome to our vibrant community of talented, smart, caring women of all life stages!
Connect with us through friendship, spirituality, Jewish life, volunteering, social justice, and fun.
Meet new and long-time friends at the Temple for Mah Jongg lessons or weekly games. Meet up with the sisterhood at local restaurants for casual dinners. Enjoy audacious hospitality at our annual Mimosa Brunch and Volunteer Appreciation Event.
Celebrate Jewish traditions through our art and baking workshops. Visit our Treasures Judaica Gift Shop for beautiful Seder plates, tallitot, Kiddush cups, fabulous Chanukah Bazaar items and much more all throughout the year.
Organize life-saving blood drives. Stand up for social justice. Create gift bags for new moms and babies. Knit blankets for children in need. Volunteer for Judy’s Place, our TRS Holiday Shop that teaches children the joy of giving.
Join us on Shabbat for Meet, Pray, Nosh and for our annual WoTRS Shabbat service. Discuss Jewish-themed books at our Sunday Morning Book Club. Be inspired at our dynamic Carol Davidson Women’s Empowerment Event.
We support the Temple and worthy charities by holding exciting fundraising events throughout the year. We host a benefit luncheon for the Women of Reform Judaism’s YES Fund, which aids future leaders in Reform Judaism.
Expand your horizons by joining us on outings to local cultural attractions. The beauty of WoTRS membership is that you always have friends when you’re on a WoTRS trip to a museum, theater, park, or other DC-area destination.
We can’t wait to get to know you!
