There are many ways for young children to begin building a lifelong connection to Jewish life, learning, and community at TRS.
Temple Rodef Shalom Early Childhood Center (ECC) offers many classes serving children from birth (with a caregiver) through kindergarten. Prospective families are always welcome to schedule a tour of our beautiful facility. Applications for TRS Early Childhood Center are accepted on a year-round, rolling basis. Applications for fall enrollment are released each January.

Designed for children ages 0–5 and their families, Tot Shabbat and Rise & Shine bring young families together to celebrate Shabbat through music, movement, stories, and community. Join us on the second Saturday of each month for Rise & Shine, a music-filled morning followed by a bagel breakfast, and on the fourth Saturday for Tot Shabbat, a short, lively service with crafts, snacks, and playtime. Older siblings are welcome.

Designed for expectant parents and families with children ages 0-5, Chai There is TRS’s young family initiative. Whether you’re looking to meet other families, celebrate Jewish holidays, enjoy music and play, or simply spend time together in a welcoming community, Chai There offers opportunities to connect, belong, and create meaningful memories. We welcome both TRS members and non-members.
