WoTRS YES Fund Luncheon: Say “YES” to Summer Food, Giving Back and Fun at TRS! Learn about WRJ’s YES (Youth, Education and Special Projects) Fund while enjoying a buffet lunch of salads, fruit, and home-baked desserts. This annual event allows us to come together to schmooze and nosh while making a lasting impact on organizations that put our Jewish values into action.
We are honored to have Helene Waranch as our guest speaker. Helene has served as past president of the North American board of the Women of Reform Judaism, as well as Mid-Atlantic District president and local sisterhood president at Baltimore Hebrew Congregation. As a community leader, Helene is the past president of the Federation of Jewish Women’s Organizations of Maryland and was the first Jewish president of the Junior League of Baltimore, Inc. She was recognized in the Circle of Excellence of Maryland’s Top 100 Women. Helene will speak on how saying “YES” with your donation to the YES Fund helps perpetuate the future of Reform Judaism here, in Israel and throughout the world.

Your admission ($35) is your donation to the YES Fund. All monies from this event go to YES Fund grantees to:
- Provide scholarships to rabbinical, cantorial, and other students
- Fund Reform Jewish institutions
- Lift the voices of young people and our future Jewish leaders, and
- Allow all members of our community to feel included as their authentic selves
Each attendee will be entered in a raffle to win a grand prize designer handbag and will have a chance to purchase more raffle tickets by making an additional donation at the event.
