On the last Sunday of every month a group of up to 15 TRS members are needed to volunteer at the Arlington Food Assistance Center (AFAC) from 11:00 to 12:30. AFAC provides assistance to 4,000 families in Arlington who face food insecurity. Tasks vary from month to month but typically include bagging donated grains and produce into individual family sized portions. The work is not strenuous but be prepared to stand for the full shift. Hats or other head coverings and closed-toed shoes are required. This is a family friendly event. Kids 10 -15 years old are welcome to attend if accompanied by a parent or sibling.
