Hineinu: Honoring 36 Years of Leadership, Investing in the Future of Temple Rodef Shalom
For 36 years, Rabbi Amy has shared her wisdom, compassion, and visionary leadership with TRS. Together, we have celebrated life’s milestones, found strength in difficult moments, welcomed new generations into Jewish life, and built the vibrant sacred community we share today.
Hineinu means “Here We Are,” the plural of hineni, “Here I Am,” the powerful biblical response of Abraham, Jacob, and Moses to God’s call. It was also the subject of Rabbi Amy’s first High Holy Days sermon at TRS in 1990.
Throughout this year-long celebration, we honor Rabbi Amy’s remarkable legacy while answering that call ourselves by investing in the future of TRS. Together, we are establishing the Endowment for the Senior Rabbinic Chair, creating permanent support for the rabbinic leadership that has sustained our congregation and will help it thrive for generations to come.
Here we are. Hineinu. Learn more about the celebration and campaign.
