Temple Rodef Shalom Early Childhood Center (TRS ECC) is for children aged 2 year to kindergarten and is a Reggio-inspired community school practicing Reform Jewish values. We also have programs for caregivers and children aged birth-2 years. While we are a Jewish school, we welcome families of all religious backgrounds in our community.
Our students and families are active in our school and local community, and we are committed to the practice of tzedakah (righteous giving) and performing mitzvot (commandments/good deeds).
We maintain an excellent teacher : student ratio (3 teachers : 14 students; may vary depending on age and class size). Our learners spend time in music and STEAM classes every week, in addition to observing Shabbat as a school and in the classroom weekly. Our teachers are committed, kind, passionate, and knowledgeable. Many of our staff have been with us for 10+ years, and we even have teachers who were ECC students themselves! All faculty and staff are certified in First Aid and CPR/AED.
TRS ECC students are eligible for Temple Rodef Shalom’s extended day programs. These programs are available for regular attendance as well as on a drop-in basis.
Before Care
8:00 – 9:00 AM – Available for children enrolled in 2s and up – Drop-ins welcome!
Aftercare
2:00 – 3:00 PM – Available for children enrolled in 3s 5-day EXT and Pre-K EXT – Drop-ins welcome!
Extended Aftercare – NEW in 2024-2025
Pick-up at 5:30 PM M-Th and 4:00 PM Fridays. Available for children enrolled in classes dismissing at 2:00 PM or 3:00 PM. Enrollment only for the whole year.
