Special Young Family Service Featuring Artist Jason Mesches
On Friday evening, Dec 12th , join us for a special Shabbat service featuring the music, movement, and silliness of Jewish music children’s performer Jason Mesches. Temple Rodef Shalom offers services that sit at the intersection of tradition and modernity, presenting each the opportunity to find their own place and connection. Our services are spiritually and intellectually uplifting experiences.

Inclusive Family Chanukah Celebration
The Inclusive Family Chanukah Celebration is for families with children ten years old and younger who might prefer a quieter celebration. The activities include crafts, games, singing and snacks. Parents, grandparents, and siblings of any age are welcome. This is not a drop-off event. There is no charge to attend.

Family-Friendly Chanukah Festival
All of us could use a little more light in our lives…especially the joyful light of Chanukah. Pile the whole family in the car and come on over for our Family-Friendly Chanukah Festival! Try your hand at some dreidel spinning — to the victor belong the chocolate kisses! We’ll have games for all ages, and plenty of time to enjoy the warm glow of being with your temple mishpacha (family). This celebration is geared towards families with children. A Chanukah gathering, Latkes & Vodka, is scheduled for our older adults on Friday, December 19, at 5:15 PM. Please see below!

Rodef 2100 (20s & 30s) Skate the Night: A Festival of Lights at Pentagon City
Glide into Chanukah with Rodef 2100! We will celebrate the first night of Chanukah together at the outdoor ice rink in Pentagon City. We will skate from 4:30-6 PM then head to Night Hawk for pizza, sufganiyot, and lighting the menorah. Join us for ice skating at 4:30 PM, dinner at 6:00 PM or both! Dress warm and ugly Chanukah sweaters are encouraged!
