This year, the Social Action Committee will is introducing a new series called Feed ‘Em Fridays. Each month, we will focus on one project that will help feed the bodies, minds, and spirits of those in need in our own community.
Together, we will make “Welcome Home” baskets for homeless families transitioning to permanent housing or pack snack bags for children who go hungry over the weekend, stuff backpacks with much-needed school supplies…and the list goes on. Each month will be a different task.
We will work then we will welcome Shabbat and enjoy dinner together and still have time to attend services at 8:00 pm for those who wish.
This month, we will make bathroom baskets for homeless who are transitioning into permanent homes. Dinner is free but we ask that you bring one pack from the list below. If you would like to bring more than one pack, feel free. Indicate on the questionnaire after you register for dinner how many packs you’d like to bring.
