The Women of Temple Rodef Shalom (WoTRS) will hold the first of its kind of program to inaugurate an annual series in memory of member Carol Davidson. Jointly sponsored by The Carol Davidson Fund for the Advancement of Women, Gene Davidson, and the Women of TRS, this half-day event will celebrate the strength of women, an issue dear to Carol and central to the core values of WoTRS.
We are thrilled to welcome Susan Weidman Schneider, Editor-in-Chief of Lilith Magazine, the award-winning Jewish women’s publication, as our keynote speaker. Featured in The New York Times, Schneider work deals with topics of gender stereotypes and the positive impact of women on Jewish life. Speaking on “Jewish & Female: Choices and Changes in Our Lives Now,” Schneider will examine the role of women in the community, in Jewish life, and in our personal lives.
In small group sessions listed below, we will use a variety of activities and exercises to explore the challenges we face at some of the key transitions in our lives and discover how to make empowering choices at any age.

Through a directed art experiential, you will leave this workshop with new personal insight, and the ability to creatively view and adjust your lives as modern women in our challenging, ever-evolving society.
A buffet luncheon and wrap-up session will conclude the day.
