SUMMARY:MoTRS Goes Tubing on the Shenandoah
DESCRIPTION:Men of TRS Shenandoah River Tubing Adventure \nSpend a summer morning floating the Shenandoah River with friends! We’ll meet at Temple Rodef Shalom around 9:00 AM to caravan or carpool to Harpers Ferry Adventure Center (about 1½ hours away)\, where we’ll catch a shuttle to the launch. The float takes approximately 1½ to 2 hours. \nEveryone pays their own way. The cost is $56 per person and includes your tube\, life vest\, parking\, key check\, and shuttle service. Please note that once we commit\, refunds are not available. \nAfter our time on the river\, anyone who’s interested is welcome to join us for lunch at a nearby brewery. \nSince you’ll be in the water\, please wear a swimsuit or other water-appropriate clothing and secure water shoes or sandals with straps (no flip-flops). \nPlease click here to register.

DESCRIPTION:Improv Tent\, TR-Yes And! Tent \nDo you love to laugh? Do you cherish connecting with supportive people? Are you looking for more moments of joy? If you answered “yes” to these questions\, then the Improv Tent\, TR-Yes And! is perfect for you! \n“Yes And” is a central improv principle — embracing whatever your partner offers and building on it. At TR-Yes And!\, we’ll gather in a safe\, encouraging environment to play and explore. We’ll use our imaginations in a variety of games and exercises to create fun worlds\, tell collaborative stories\, and share a sense of connected joy. Everyone is welcome—no prior improv or theater experience is needed\, and you don’t even need to be funny. Just bring yourself; you are enough!  \nTemple Rodef Shalom is a big place. But\, we know how to bring it down to “fun size.” Do you like to take a hike while learning about local history? Do you love watching good films…and then critiquing them with friends? Are you into researching your family genealogy? Do you use the word “aperture” more than once a day? Then\, join a Tent – our small groups initiative aimed at gathering together Temple members who enjoy the same interests\, hobbies\, sports and more! \n Every month\, be on the lookout for a congregational email with all the latest intel on our Tents.
