Shir Joy is our awesome choir for students in grades
K-2! Under the direction of Cantor Allen Leider, Director of Education,
Shir Joy performs during the school year at TRS and in the community.
Shir
Joy meets about twice a month during the break between
early and late session Religious School. If you are interested in
joining this choir, please contact
Cantor Leider.

Rehearsals
Rehearsals take
place from 10:40 to 11:15 on selected Sundays in the Sanctuary (around
twice a month). Our fall rehearsal schedule will be posted in
August.
Early Session Parents:
Students who are in
early session will be dismissed by their teachers (before the rest of
the class) and sent upstairs to the Sanctuary. Teachers will have a
list of choir students in their class. For dismissal, students will be
led outside to sit on the steps by the pickup lane.
Late Session Parents:
Please be sure to
have your child here so that s/he is in the Sanctuary by 10:40. We
really want to be able to start on time! Following the rehearsal,
students will be dismissed to their classes.
Concert/Service Dress
Shir Joy members
will wear our light blue Shir Joy polo shirts. Choir
members should also wear dark pants or slacks/long skirts when singing
at services. No
jeans or sneakers please at services.
