Learn your prayers and torah with your computer
Temple Rodef Shalom now uses KOL KORE as an added resource to help Bar and Bat Mitzvah students learn the Hebrew required during the service. The program cost $60. Read your torah portion in english
Click here to find your Torah and Haftarah portion in English, or print a new copy of your portion with vowels, or like it looks in the Torah, without vowels.
Notebook projects
The Bar/Bat Mitzvah notebook helps students understand the true meaning of Bar or Bat Mitzvah by looking at what it means to be a Jewish adult from different perspectives.
We ask that students complete one project per month, beginning 11 months prior to the Bar or Bat Mitzvah.

B'nai Mitzvah Hebrew Packets
To print the pages of the prayer packet, or a copy of the Siddur that each Bar or Bat Mitzvah will read his or her prayers from on the bimah, see below under Prayer Packets. Choose the appropriate item and you can view it, save it to your computer, or print it. These prayer packets are in Adobe pdf format, if you need it, you can download the free Adobe Reader program here.
To hear the audio recordings of each prayer, scroll down to the Audio Files section below, and choose the appropriate item. Please note that these files are in mp3 format, and you must have a program on your computer that will play these files. You can download the free Apple Quicktime program here.
