Be a part of our family!

Our dynamic Religious School lays the foundation for lifelong Jewish learning and Living.

Our Educational Philosophy

We are committed to meeting the needs of each student through fostering Jewish identity, strengthening a sense of community and providing the educational background to begin a lifetime of contemporary Jewish living based in Jewish values.  Jewish learning needs to be engaging, personally meaningful, and should inform the day to day life of each student.

Our K-12 Program

The Temple Rodef Shalom Religious School offers a dynamic program for grades kindergarten through 12. Our program emphasizes small classes and warm relationships, where our students will develop a positive Jewish identity through a personally engaging exploration of Judaism.  We utilize a spiral curriculum, which builds upon what students have learned in the past and introduces new concepts and ideas appropriate to the students’ cognitive development.  Our curriculum focuses on Torah, Avodah (Jewish worship and spirituality), G'milut Chassadim (Jewish values and social justice), holidays and customs, and Israel.  We teach Hebrew reading and prayer skills with an emphasis on creating personal connections to the themes of our prayers. We encourage learning within the context of the family and consider parents an integral part of our education program.
