TRSNS 2010-2011 FEE SCHEDULE

     We will accept applications when accompanied by:

  • a non-refundable $125 application fee (checks should be made out to TRSNS)
  • your child's official/original birth certificate AND a copy of the original.  We will keep the copy and return the original.

Temple Rodef Shalom Nursery School is a community preschool conveniently located

on the border of McLean, Falls Church, and North Arlington.

 

We serve families throughout Northern Virginia. 

The preschool has approximately 200 students in its two, three, and five day classes.

We maintain a low ratio teacher/child in all of our classes.

NEW PROGRAM FOR 2010-2011!

Stepping Stones...  A Transition to Preschool

A class for children born between April 1, 2008 and January 31, 2009.

A parent, grandparent or consistent caregiver will attend the class at least until the child turns two.  After that, the teacher and parent will work together to determine when the child is ready to be at school on his/her own. 

Tuesdays and Thursdays  9:15a.m.-12:15p.m.

 This class is not a co-op.  It will be taught by a teacher who is part of the Temple Rodef Shalom Nursery School staff.

We will follow the nursery school calendar. 

Tuition: $3,850

Temple member tuition with discount: $3,500* 

*In order to receive this discount you must be a member in good standing, paying standard temple dues and temple building fund fees.

 We reserve the right to cancel any class that is under enrolled.

TRSNS Stepping Stones...  ATransition to Preschool Application 2010-2011

 

MOMMY/DADDY & ME 2010-2011 - ENROLLING LATE SPRING 2010

For children born between October 2008 - April 2010

If you have a child born between 10/08 - 4/10, your child is eligible to enroll in Mommy/Daddy and Me next year.  This program is an interactive parent-child class that includes art, music, snack, and Jewish holiday activities.  The classes are led by a teacher and limited to 7 children and a parent.  Children are registered on a first-come first-served basis.

Kindergarten Buddies 2010-2011

An enrichment and social program for children in Fairfax County attending afternoon kindergarten, sponsored by Temple Rodef Shalom.

  • Class will meet four days a week, Tuesday through Friday, 9:10am-11:30am 
  • Activities include art, science, literature, music, Jewish  holiday activities,  playground time, and a lunch period.
  • Class size is limited to 14 children with a teacher and an assistant teacher.

Classes meet from Tuesday, September 21, 2010 through  Friday, June 10,  2011.

  • No food will be served; lunch to be brought from home.

  • Children must be toilet trained.

  • Transportation to Kindergarten is not provided.

TRSNS Snow Closing Policy (udated 12-8-09):

When Fairfax County Schools are CLOSED, TRSNS is CLOSED.

When Fairfax County Schools are DELAYED TWO HOURS, TRSNS OPENS ONE HOUR LATE AT 10:15 am.

When Fairfax County Schools CLOSE EARLY, TRSNS CLOSES AT 12:15 pm.

If TRSNS deviates from any of the above statements, you will receive a phone call!
