Room rental reservation requests are now open for families with dates between August 2013 and September of 2014.

Room Rental Procedure

Room rental reservation requests will be considered on a first come, first served basis according to the electronic time stamp on the completed room rental reservation request form (below).

All rental requests must be accompanied by a $401 deposit made by Paypal, using the "Pay Now" button below. (We recommend that you use the Paypal button after you submit your web application).  A Paypal account is not needed; you may use any major credit card to make your payment.

You will receive an email confirmation from Jen Charlap when your request form and Paypal deposit have both been received.

If your rental date is available, this email will include a facility application and rental agreement. We require half of the rental fee and a $401 damage deposit at the time of application.  The $401 Paypal payment will be used for the Damage Deposit.

If your rental is confirmed, please send the signed rental agreement to Jen along with a check for half of the rental fee. When received, the rental is confirmed and placed on the calendar.

If your requested rental is not available, Jen will phone you at your requested contact phone number. Your rental deposit will be completely refunded by Paypal.

If you do not receive a confirmation email within 24 hours, email Jen at jcharlap@templerodefshalom.org  to confirm receipt.

Rental Guidelines

Please note that a family may not reserve more than one room at the Temple until the partner family has declined use of the facilities (with the exception of a Friday night dinner). In addition, in a weekend with both a Shacharit (morning) and Mincha (afternoon) service, the morning family may not reserve a room for an evening event until the Mincha families have declined use of the facilities for an evening event following their service.

Please note the start and end time of the rentals. There is no access to the kitchen or rental space until the rental period begins. All rental space must be cleaned and vacated by the end time.

All families must hire a fully licensed and insured caterer. No pork or shellfish may be served in the Temple at any time.  All of the policies and procedures of TRS must be abided by. To review them, please download the Rental Booklet.
